Dinner At Yang's Kitchen in Alhambra Is Something Else

For the most part, lunch and dinner menus at Chinese restaurants are substantially similar.  A major exception is dim sum restaurants which typically cut off dim sum service at 3pm and serve only entrees in the evening.  However, one great exception in Yang's Kitchen in Alhambra, which in the daytime is mostly noodles and plates.  However, at dinnertime it becomes "Yang's At Night" with a high quality foodie menu.  This is what we had at our recent dinner there.

Awesome cherry tomato salad

Blistered sugar snap peas

Dry aged Hiramasa

Yang's fried chicken wings

Cold crab noodles

Pork jowl cha shiu

Braised duck leg with taro

Signature Hainan fish rice

What a dinner to remember!   Dinner time clearly moves Yang's into the top three of Chinese restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley.
